1930SummerThe only nest of this species found this season held two eggs on May 24th (Leander Fischer). This vas near Shakopee.
1931SummerOne nest with four eees on June 9th (Woolsey).
1933Summer Five nests reported. The first, eontaining one egg, was located by Stein and the writer on May 1oth, which 'fOUld seem to be a rather early date. The last nest, found by Hiemenz near St. Cloud on June 7th,contained 3 eggs.
1936Summer On May 24th a nest built in a boxelder grove on the Sioux Lake shore contained five eggs as reported by Jensen. 1:1. J. Breckenridge discovered young on wing still shoving tracos of doYn on its body.
1937SummerOn June 5 a nest of five eggs was found at Minneapolis by E. D. Swedenborg.
1938SummerOn May 22 a nest of 4 eggs was found by E. D. Swedenborg at Minneapolis. On June 9 George Rys­gaard found 2 nests at Lake Frances in Isanti County. One held 4 large young; the other, 5 eggs.
1944Summer5. Two nests, June 6 (downy young on the 17th), and June 26, one young, Hennepin County, Miss Aler. Two nests, July 6 and August 3, each with two large young, Ramsey County, Brother Hubert and Brother Pius. Another found by Olson.
1945Summer17 nests, some only 20 feet apart, dates from May 24 to Aug. 12, Hennepin Co., Don and Eldeen Jacobs; 3 nests, Hennepin Co., Lulu M. Aler; 8 nests with young, May 14 to 25, Hennepin Co., Fred Blanch and Larry Flahavan.
1947SummerAdult flushed from nest 5/23-31; June 3, 3 eggs hatched; June 17, 2 young; June 26 nest deserted, Hennepin Co. Aler; 2 nests with young, July 9, Hennepin Co., Jacobs.

Two other exceptionally northern reports: 6-12 Lower Rice Lake, CLEARWATER Co., JJG and Trout Lake, ST. LOUIS Co., 7-16, RBJ, the latter record being the most northern report on record for the state. Also reported from Hennepin, Wright, Dakota, Morrison, Rice, Stearns, and Ramsey Co's.
